Smithsonian Institution Highlights Morocco’s Cultural Heritage [Maghreb Arab Press]
Morocco has signed a partnership agreement with the National Foundation for Museums, receives praise from Smithsonian official:
Molly Fannon, Director of the Office of International Relations at the Smithsonian Institution, a group of museums and research centers administered by the United States government, highlighted the cultural heritage and diversity of Morocco, a country where the different civilizations influenced each other throughout the centuries.
During a ceremony chaired by King Mohammed VI, Fannon signed, on Tuesday in Rabat, a partnership agreement with the National Foundation for Museums on the occasion of the inauguration by the sovereign of the Mohammed VI Museum for Modern and Contemporary Art.
Morocco is a country with such a heritage and a long history where the different cultures came together and influenced each other throughout the centuries, Fannon told MAP.
