Morocco praised for support of Ebola-affected countries – throughout the crisis, Morocco continued flights in and out of those countries:

MAP logoThe Heads of State of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone praised, here Tuesday, the support and solidarity of Morocco with Ebola-affected countries.

Speaking at an international high-level conference organized by the EU to support the international mobilization against Ebola, Guinean President Alpha Condé paid tribute to King Mohammed VI, citing the personal action of the Sovereign.

“There is no greater symbol of support to Ebola-affected countries from their friends than maintaining borders open and free movement of people”, he underlined.

For their part, President of Sierra Leone Ernest Bai Koroma and President of the Republic of Liberia, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf praised Morocco’s solidarity with countries affected by Ebola…[Original Story, Subscription Required]
