Ingram Micro launches Morocco hub | IT News Africa
American Electronics company Ingram Micro has opened a new office in Morocco as “a safe bet for a jumping off point to the rest of the continent”:
In an effort to continue to expand, Ingram Micro announced that it had opened its subsidiary office in Casablanca. The new office should assist the company in continuing to create a larger presence in Africa with Morocco as its North African base.
The company said that the Moroccan office is the company’s first legal presence in French-speaking North Africa, and “will service one of the fastest growing IT markets in the region.”
Morocco has seen its technology infrastructure improve dramatically as the overall growth of mobile and new technologies is furthered in the country. Companies like Ingram Micro are viewing Morocco as a safe bet for a jumping off point to the rest of the continent…[Full Story]
