Morocco Attends World Humanitarian Summit | North Africa Post

An exposition at the World Humanitarian Summit outlines Morocco’s strong “contribution in humanitarian action and peacekeeping operations”:

The North Africa Post[…] On the sidelines of this event, Prince Moulay Rachid visited on Monday an exhibition showing Morocco’s contribution in humanitarian action and peacekeeping operations.

The exhibition displays the contribution made by the Moroccan royal armed forces over half a century in peacekeeping operations and the protection of civilians.

With more than 2,300 peacekeepers, the North African Kingdom is currently the 15th troop contributor to UN peace operations. Peacekeeping has proven to be one of the most effective tools available to the UN to assist host countries navigate the difficult path from conflict to peace.
