Morocco, Chad to Strengthen Cooperation in Infrastructure, Aviation, Training [Maghreb Arab Press]

Morocco continues to play a leadership role in Africa, signing several agreements for expanded cooperation and development with Chad:

MAP logoChad MapMorocco and Chad signed, on Friday in N’Djamena, three cooperation agreements in the areas of infrastructure, aviation and training.

Two of these agreements which were signed by Mohamed Najib Boulif, minister delegate for Transport, and Adoum Younousmi, Chadian minister of Ifrastructure, Transport and Civil aviation, “will undoubtedly boost technical cooperation between the two countries,” said Boulif following the signing ceremony.

The first agreement aims to examine the means to give a new boost and strengthen technical cooperation in the area of infrastructure in accordance with the clear-sighted vision of HM the King and the Chadian president, he added.

Under the second agreement on aviation, Morocco and Chad will work together to further develop air transport between the two countries in light of the official inauguration of the new Casablanca/N’Djamena route.

The third agreement, which was signed between the Hassania School of Public Works and the Chadian National School of Public Works, aims to outline a general framework for a practical partnership in the areas of education, training and research…[Original Story, Subscription Required]
