Tunisia, Morocco Sign Agreement in Pharmaceuticals [All Africa]

Morocco and Tunisia have signed a new co-operation agreement which aims to bring together the regulatory environments for their pharmaceutical markets:

AllAfricaA co-operation agreement between the Tunisian and Moroccan pharmaceuticals institutions was signed recently at the seat of the Health Ministry in Tunis.

The agreement aims, according to a statement of the Ministry, to boost co-operation between the two countries in pharmaceuticals and stipulate joint measures and provisions.

In addition to the unification of procedures, the document provides, in particular, for the mutual recognition, before the end of 2016, of the authorization of marketing medicines as well as assessment report of medicament made in Tunisia and Morocco, developed by national drug control laboratories in 2015…[Full Story]
