The two leaders underlined that the fight against such plagues requires comprehensive and integrated strategies that include security aspects, combating radical ideologies and sustainable development, wrote the joint statement issued following the official visit by the Ivorian head of state to Morocco, at the sovereign’s invitation.
The two leaders firmly condemned all terrorist acts in all their forms.
They deemed that security threats by extremist groups constitute a major challenge for States’ stability and a hindrance to socioeconomic development of African states, the statement added.
