Côte d’Ivoire Attacks: Moroccan Security Officials in Abidjan upon High instructions of the King | MAP

Morocco is providing security assistance to the Ivory Coast, following the recent shooting attack:

MAP logoUpon High instructions of King Mohammed VI, Moroccan security officials arrived, Monday in Abidjan, to lend support to Ivorian authorities in their investigations into Sunday’s mass shooting at a beach resort in Côte d’Ivoire.

During His phone call with President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire Alassan Ouattara, King Mohammed VI proposed sending a team of Moroccan experts to support Ivorian authorities in their investigations, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.

In this respect, the King gave His High instructions to the Interior Minister and Director General of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) and the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST) to immediately go to Côte d’Ivoire, the statement added.
