MCC-Morocco partnership: MCC CEO lauds Morocco’s deep commitment to achieve set goals | Maghreb Arab Press

The Millennium Challenge Corporation and Morocco are working towards their second Compact for sustainable development with a special focus on public-private partnerships:

MAP logoChief executive officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Dana Hyde lauded, on Wednesday in Washington, Morocco’s deep commitment at the highest level to achieve goals set under the partnership between the Kingdom and MCC.

There is a deep commitment, at the highest level of the government, to achieve goals set under the partnership with MCC and ensure its economic impact on populations, said Hyde who was speaking during a round-table on the Moroccan private sector, organized at the MCC headquarters in the US Federal capital.

Last December, MCC board of directors confirmed Morocco for a second Compact of the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA).

Hailing the results achieved under the first Compact, the CEO noted that cooperation efforts will focus mainly on supporting the private sector, improving the business climate and promoting vocational training.
